I just received my recall letter today as well. I initially heard about it a few weeks back and I thought I wasn’t part of the recall, but oh well.
I seriously hope it doesn’t fail when I am driving and God help me if I get into an accident.

When I remote start mine, I am not in BT range. In the AM, if I noticed it has not pre-con, I normally ask Alexa to start the vehicle.
In both case I would get the guest profile till I made sure the key fob and my phone were tied to the the car (again not just PaaK).
Yes, and I don't doubt it. However I had the same issue, and in order for me to "fix" it, I had to be sure to add my phone to my profile, and my key. I thought by doing the PaaK would add it, but it didn't and I had to go though more steps.
I had the same issue. However once you tie the key used (key fob) and the cell phone used (Add Phone under user profile) and PaaK, it will recognize who started the truck.
Those that have the Max Tow package have two pumps if I remember correctly. One under the the center console, and one near the front trunk. Any loud whine could be a bearing issue in the water pump itself.
For me, it was working OK till I recently modified the timing to be sooner and everyday (M-F) since now I need to be in the office more. Now its hit or miss...
I just got the update today/tonight. I went to pickup my little guy and it showed I had a update pending install. So I installed it now vs waiting till my usual time for all installs.
So normally in any vehicle you don’t want to above a certain number of inches from the ground in order to avoid the engine ingesting water and hydro locking or blocking the exhaust. In this case, we obviously have no engine but motors with a sealed battery.
Even though the motors and...
I usually don't keep vehicles longer than 3 years due to manufacturer planned obsolescence, and me liking the latest and greatest. However I might take the plunge and keep it this time. So knowing there is a 8 year/100K warranty on the battery already (and that can't be extended), I might just...
I had a slight advantage in my case as my cell connectivity is pretty bad where I live (ATT). So I believe it would use the Wifi no matter what. However all that bytes in/out need to account for something as its not just DHCP relate traffic. I personally don't really care about the data, its...
My recent insights didn’t catch anything major either at first. However since I have increased logging verbosity to around 6 months on my networking gear, I can see daily and there are times I get to the MB vs KB.
I also plan on doing some sort of port mirroring and packet capture to see...
The more you drive, the more the GOM is more "accurate". Its not the best, but it just gives you a idea. However I was even surprised by how much it dropped when I did a 111 mile round trip recently. Like you, I got 1.6 mile/kwh.
I didn’t see a thread on this topic so I figured I would start one.
Vehicle was preconditioned to medium and plugged in during that time. Starting charge was 90%. Battery temperature wasn’t at mid as you see in the picture, but little by little it hit mid as I drove. I have the Platinum, so I...
I have two kids…one in a infant car seat. Plus it’s easier so you can see your child vs having him/her behind you.
It not inconvenient and works out fine for me.
