I don't disagree it could be running very late on Tesla time, I can't imagine that this adapter is much different than what is built into the Magic Dock. Plus Tesla handles most of their own manufacturing in the NY Giga Factory. I just figure there will be huge demand so they want to have...
This for the win. I will never rely only on Ford and rarely on Ford overall. I've had 10 years experience with their various versions. Other aspects of their system lose my confidence too, like searching for places. if you can't do that, then I do not trust your routing. This is where...
I had been on the bleeding edge of the 6.X series, but it almost seems they diverged. I got the 6.2 re-release, but I'm not sure everyone got that.
What I'm not sure of, those getting 6.4, did you get the 6.2 re-release or is it just on top of the 6.3 release? Seems they may have...
I won't explain it as well as others and may not get it 100%, but Ford's updates are not like Tesla or your home Computer. Tesla has 3 main computers and each update they bring the complete package - new updates and the old, you get a complete update, like your home computer or phone. The...
This is coming in a SW release. I believe it may already be on the Mach E. It has been noted however. Tesla has done this since day 1 and Ford is adopting the strategy.
Otherwise it is push/pull to engage and disengage. I don't remember which way is which.
There is a 3D printed "stop" out there somewhere for that sliding problem. I believe it's been shared here on the forum. My search failed to find it, but @LUXMAN and @TexasGardeningGirl have printed and use them. I've not ever had too much of a problem with it.
I like and appreciate different views. I know ours don't align most of the time, but they do on occasion. Elon can be a crazy man - I just appreciate someone stepping outside the corporate norm.
These threads are fun - and I'll be the first to admit I even like a good argument at times. However I think the key here is that there is likely a whole new set of people that will buy the Cybertruck that wouldn't have previously purchased a truck. There will also be a large number of Big 3...
There is a public tracker that has reservation numbers added to it. It's slow as hell to navigate, but there is at least a lot of interest for $100. Tesla folk can be a different crowd and since the majority of half ton trucks are garage princesses, this truck whatever it turns out to be...
Several of us have used it from a dealer here in Denton - north of Dallas. The tech was very good. He did the the light bar, wiper motor, SW and the mat. It was a great service.
Isn't the official number put out by Ford 150kW that our trucks are limited to? I know some have gone above that, but Ford doesn't even acknowledge it.
This is my tracking for SW releases on a '22 Lariat. There was a series for 4.2.x.x releases for the '23's earlier this year which I didn't get. You can sort of tie the Sync updates to releases where I show mine updated.
They don't want a broken truck they can't sell, they'd rather have it in your hands.
They have strict rules about recalls being performed before delivery, but this isn't a recall.
It only makes sense they would do this, however sadly as you are noting, they don't.
Chances are you fat fingered something or the "English" updates may have changed something they shouldn't have. While they should be legit, the Forscan experts warn to stay away from and to modify the Hex Values in the As Built.
To say the least restore your back (that you should have taken...
I could see this type and speed of charger working in a metro area in a parking lot of a retailer and they expect you to come in and charge an hour or two while shopping. They should never be advertised as part of a DCFC network. I do know that most vehicles will show you level 1, 2 or 3...
