So, why can't we just get the replenishment center to send the vehicle directly to my house? At the price they are selling it to the dealer for?

In my state (and several others) it's because the Dealer mafia and the Political mafia have agreed that forced intermediation is best for me and my fellow residents!

Just gotta get the dealers to agree to being side-stepped. You know, those same dealers who are suing Ford to keep from having to add DCFC units to their "stores"

I agree BUT there is one caveat, how would one get support if there were no dealerships? Presumably directly from Ford but I suppose that "horse" left the barn a long time ago hence the lack of choice.

The manufacturers should carve out a federal exception for EV’s.
Mostly because the dealers don’t want to sell EV’s complaining that they are not selling. Open the door a crack.
