I didn't realize there was an app - I assume you all truly mean on the center stack screen. I've only used the one on the screen behind the wheel.
The latest update has tanked Alexa and the press for Ford prompt - any slight chance it is related?
On a side note - I noticed a week back I had...
A wreck this week - the driver says the truck took off on its own. He didn't accelerate so he is implying the Rivian has a SW or HW issue that can cause it to accelerate at any time...
The Forscan experts haven't noted anything and just last weekend I plugged Forscan in and went through every module, just poking around. I saw nothing of the sorts for any kind of one pedal control.
This is simply poor management of the drive system. There is slack and slop between...
And no one is going to want that first model year. IF Ford can make '25 happen. With the pull back in their spending and the battery issues from SK - there is nothing I would believe today that Ford will make the '25 date.
I don't experience any clunkiness as OP notes. I can accelerate and slow nice and smooth. It's at the slow speeds that Ford is sloppy and lacks control. I've never driving a Bolt, but having had 3 other Tesla's that I've driven - believe me if you've only driven a Ford you really don't...
This is one of the biggest concerns I have. For most that don't understand it the dealers will turn this into a nightmare and lie about it every way to Sunday to show how good it is to the consumer while marking up stickers, etc but the dealer is trying to show them what a good deal the price...
Tesla doesn't go this far either, but it's just sad that Ford doesn't enhance their portal and show the SW updates sent to a truck. If they haven't been applied but are available for your truck, you should be able to check a box and have it pushed out or triggered again.
Wishful thinking right?
Ouch. I had a pickup stolen from a dealer lot, so craziness can happen.
I wonder how they will avoid the carfax and diminshed value? Likely just planning on ordering parts and having their body shop fix it with no claim to any insurance?
I actually feel like CarPlay has improved over the last 30 to 60 days. Wireless almost always connects and the music continues to play once started. It had been pausing 5 to 10 seconds after the connection was made and music started.
I used to plug in a lot to get a better connection, but...
That is interesting and news I had never researched. With as many are built I figured there surely had to be one.
There are components of the options in Forscan that refer to Right Hand Drive trucks. So they must include the programming options for those they do convert.
Also just found...
I'm guessing they will only ever sell in left hand drive countries. Haven't seen one, but I'm sure the standard F150 is built in a RHD, but I can't imagine they would ever go that far for the Lightning.
I had all of my recalls and CSP's taken care of the same day. It took them almost two weeks for them to clear from my account. As others the Battery SW update is still there and I also received that email today.
The dealer has no obligation to update your SW unless it is part of a recall. Most don't. Ford won't pay them for that kind of work.
I know -it would be a great thing, but it is too time consuming and expensive for them.
I also discovered wifi off in my truck this weekend. I have 6.2 and 6.3. Overall it isn't a big deal, but it would just be nice if settings weren't changed with an update.
You may have covered this in another thread/time. Quick overview - can you recount how long an update will try to install and if it fails overall, how often are updates redeployed?
You won't get close to that 2.3 at 80 MPH out on the freeway. I get about 1.6, guessing that is closer to what @iam7foot1 is getting too. He lists Tahoe as home, so he may have more elevation changes.
My drive and experience is relatively flat. Maybe an increase in 500' over 120 miles.
