I appreciate safety features, but this one drives me nuts. I've still left it on to possibly save me, but baking into any spot with something behind you can trigger the auto braking feature. This can be turned off in settings.
If you've got FDRS - after the update or somewhere it populates the actual data about all of the battery modules. You might be able to load up FDRS and pull up that update or poke around in screens to find your actual data. However as @Mike G notes too - if your truck didn't flash messages...
Ordered a week ago Saturday - came 2 day Fedex. I was afraid local stores wouldn't have them, good to see the supply.
The picture of the 2023 tag was confusing at first, I knew mine said 2022. I hadn't realized they have both years, I just hadn't looked closely.
I got 6.1 the first day, but have lagged on 6.2 and 6.3. Seems they may have limited these two updates for some reason. Have been lucky to get many releases right up front. Hoping they start rolling again this week.
I know you said you haven't received any updates, but I will note that when I do I make screen shots of the messages from the app.
@TaxmanHog - you make a bold statement when you talk about how slow the messages and app are. Were they ever speedy? I've not noticed them being any slower...
What do we think the cost estimate is to Ford for each of these repairs? I'm guessing SK has to bear part of the costs for replacing the battery module, but the module, shipping, labor to drop the battery, save and replace the glycol, etc.
I would guess $3K to $4K per replacement.
This has nothing to do with Ford, they are misleading and still don't know to support their customers.
There is a Magic Dock thread, many of us have used the chargers successfully.
Download the Tesla app. There is a section on "Charging your Non-Tesla". Set up an account and add a credit...
Wow- Sorry to see this and I don't know how I missed this thread for a week. I would think that is totaled for sure and I'm with you, I would want it to be.
I remember several of us in DFW were tracking our trucks together, but I forget, is yours the truck that made it do Dallas and then...
I was coming to say give it 10 to 15 minutes - so I guess 12 it is. It is likely connected to the rear seat USB ports. Those USB ports are a key indicator to some of the ICE trucks when they update software manually. There used to be some steps where they needed the truck to go completely...
How long do you stay on the SW page.? I've noticed the last month when I go to the SW page it shows my last update and "Not Updated", but if I stay there for 5 to 10 seconds it will update and show the Updated message.
It will happen, but it may be a while before they deliver in quantity. Any new vehicle takes ramp time. They've given an estimate number for the factory just like Ford has - 150K per year, but they won't produce that number for a year or two.
The stories for the Lightning and GM aren't...
I haven't gone Googling to see what else is known, but a user on the sister sight has found and posted information about the next version of Sync which the Lightning was supposed to have had a year ago.

That isn't the way Tesla does it. Why allow anyone to drive it? The stories and demand are off the charts. It will probably be a while before they even have a candidate to put in each of the Stores.
They'll get it in the hands of a few people like Kyle and Tom, but they don't need to...
I had my light bar replaced today on the tailgate. I got some pictures and an interesting observation or two about the tailgate.
First - a picture from the inside with the work surface removed (Blue tailgate)- the motor and control module are on the passenger side. All of the cutouts look...
We know, but it is always subject to change and it could be different per location. In your Tesla app, hit your car icon in the upper right and then slide over to the "Charge your non-Tesla", select your charger and you'll get a rate. You can see what the SC rates are for Magic Dock's. Who...
Another vote for the Teslatap Mini. I've got a Gen 2 wall charger dialed to 48 amps, connected to a 60 amp breaker. Other than a few DCFC sessions, it's been my primary charging at home. Works great. No heating issues. Starts charging as soon as it's plugged in.
Use the same WC for a Y.
I can tell you this - in the TX summer with the AC on in a Lariat with Max Tow - the fans (regardless of where they are) are louder than a typical ICE engine. Loudest truck ever out front. Nice and quiet in the cabin however.
