To be honest, it's kind of gimmicky to me. I'm not sure how much I would "enjoy" the auto-lane change feature; especially where I live and drive where we are always rated amongst the worse drivers by city in the nation. I would rather they work in improving BC overall performance than adding...
What a butcher. I am not sure what would compel someone to do something like this. You would think someone would no experience would do some minimal research before doing some DIY project like this. This is just blasphemous.
Edit: It was already mentioned, but yes, they sell adapters to...
There is no rhyme or reason as to how updates get pushed out. In terms of the IPMA itself, it does not have to be updated sequentially.....it can go from an old version to the latest in one shot.
The FORScan changes needed to make it work would take a few minutes to do. It is not difficult...
You already have all the software needed for BC 1.4. You just need FORScan to enable the new features. Either that, or wait for the IPMA OTA that enables it.
PSA to whom it may concern. We've known this to be the case for a long time on the forums. We use to think it was a mistake of some sort on Ford's side, but it seems to be on purpose. If your vehicle is on Sync 23031, 23159 or 23291 and not showing any more updates for the APIM, GWM or TCU, then...
You would run the "read configuration data" tool. That is supposed to upload your existing config up to the mothership. However, I can tell you 100% confidence this does not work 100% of the time.
The database on FDRS most likely has a different p/n for the TRM and therefore is trying to load different files. I can't say with 100% certainty, but I don't think you can update it with FDRS.
As far as the ACM issue goes, if your FDRS is still active, try running a PMI on the ACM and when...
It is very subtle when it moves over for large vehicles and sometimes, it does not do it at all. Also, the animations for BC on the Mach E are better than what we get on the trucks.
