The OP posted the question about switching from cordless tools to corded tools not about a remote situation where its beneficial to use truck power. that is a totally different question.

I have outlets in my garage and on the outside of my house. Why would having an outlet on my truck make me want to switch back to corded tools? Extension cords are a pain in the butt too. If you are remote then use the truck outlets for the chargers

Mine only do that initial swipe 1 time for every 20-30 starts. Very random on the swipe but otherwise work great.

Yeah I'll wait to see if we get a free one. I rarely travel with my truck, just home charging

To each is own but the frunk is a waste of space. I've only used it when forced. 99% of the time my backseat is empty. So much more convenient. Chop off the frunk and give me better mileage.

CA doesn't require a yearly state safety inspection of motor vehicles? NY does and the vehicle mileage is recorded and stored with state safety inspection.
