The fix for this is OTA 24-PU0105-CMR-FX. Mach E's and F150's are already getting it. One person on the thread below mentioned he never got 6.13.0 but he got this yesterday. Seems like whether you got 6.13.0 or not, you will be getting this OTA. This is great news and progress towards the...
Yea, but it's very raw. All it has is word-for-word what I pulled from the wiki page before they took it down. The info is mixed with ICE trucks and MME's, and has only a few of the more recent updates added to it.
The OTA history thread is here...
I have checked VIN's on over a dozen vehicles today already and I had no issues pulling connected data on any of them including my own. That isn't to say no vehicle are affected, but so far, I have not found one that is told me connected data could not be accessed.
Yes, but I have been slacking on updating the Lightning spreadsheet so tonesto can add it to the github for our trucks. I pretty much have all the info I need at this point.....it's just a matter of adding it to the spreadsheet on the ICE forum OTA history thread so that can pull the info into...
7:11 is when the update itself actually happened. This update doesn't show any downloaded files which is the only update that appears this way. It shows the update was ready to install at 7:08 after the manifest was posted. Seems like as soon as your truck was on WiFi, it installed.
PTS doesn't show if it downloaded via wifi or its own modem. Just trying to see if anyone had gotten this with wifi off. Trying to determine if wifi is required as the update says.
@mattskr The update appears exactly the same on your truck as the others I've checked.
If my source says it changes as-built data in the TCU, I fully trust him. I have never seen Jesse be wrong about anything. You can download it and save it to compare whenever your truck syncs up, but it can...
The only way is to plug something into trailer connection that draws enough power to make the truck think it has a trailer connected. If there is a way to do it with FORScan, don't hold your breathe for me to figure it out. That is above my paygrade. lol
@Arrington.LCA
Every thing that has happened since the OTA trigger up until now is normal. The status of the OTA now reads "Update VIL Generation". I have no idea what that is. After the interrogator log gets posted, the manifest comes next. This OTA is for sure different than others. It...
That's not how things work. Auto-updates being off will only prevent an update the requires the vehicle to be inhibited from installing. That will not prevent the server from queueing up the next update for you. If your truck is parked and you sent an update, it will just sit in your queue until...
Yes, it is imperative for the LVB to be charged up for this type of update. By "this type", I mean an update that requires the vehicle to be parked and inhibited while it installs.
