Well, your Fordpass itself seems to be fine because I can pull the connected info on your truck. Modules pending updates are below. Not too bad of a list. You aren't showing an IPMA update which may pop up once some of those updates are done. That one would take 3 hours and has been a bit...
I'll be available Friday evening after work if you are. I don't have my kids that day, so it'll be perfect timing-wise. Send me your VIN so I can see what you have pending.
I see no indication that they did any module updates. The ran a few PMI procedures on the IPMA which is conducive with a module replacement, but not necessarily as a PMI can also be done to an existing module with the purpose of loading the correct software on it. Hard to tell from what I can...
There is no rhyme or reason in how OTA's are sent out; as least Ford does not say what logic is used to distribute updates. Where in Florida are you? If you're in the Miami area, we can set something up and I'll update the truck. No charge.
You are on Sync 22326 that is software from the 326th day of 2022. Latest Sync versions for all connected Ford vehicles are in the attached doc. Is would be 23291.
The issue is on Ford's side for you and many others. Your truck is on Sync 23159 which is one version behind the latest one. Right now, you are only showing a CMR update available for your truck. The fact that you are not showing any APIM, GWM or TCU updates is a red flag that there is a...
Perhaps you already know what I am about to say, but I wanted to say it because this post makes it seem like FDRS is incapable of installing certain updates.
FDRS supersedes the OTA process. If a vehicle is far enough behind where it has not gotten the 4.x.x updates, then yes; they can indeed...
Even with the access I have, some of those things are difficult to answer. OTA history is only kept in PTS for "x" amount of time. It says 60 days, but it is recorded for much longer than that.
Are far as what you pending, anyone with PTS or FDRS access can check that for you with your VIN...
7.0.2 is interesting. That I hadn't heard about it. It seems to improve the predictive speed assist which is terrible right now, so that looks promising.
It got hung up while they were trying to update the IPMA. Same thing happened to a Mach E owner this week where the dealer got stuck updating the IPMA showing the same programming errors as your truck.
Modules pending updates are below:
I did a write-up of what happens when you get an OTA here:
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/what-happens-when-an-ota-is-sent-to-your-vehicle-step-by-step-breakdown-of-the-ota-process.20875/
This is based solely on my research. Nothing there is official from Ford, as they treat the OTA...
As per the papers Ford filed with the NHTSA for this update:
" Update the strategy to learn window travel hard stop at top and bottom to reduce unintended window bounce back and to prevent loss of one touch function.”
Updates the DDM/PDM.
PTS is acting up and not showing OTA dashboards right now. I'll try again later.
Edit: It's back up. Looks like it just failed to enter inhibit mode the time before it installed. It only recorded two attempts and the battery stats are almost identical in both attempts.
