The camera coming up when approaching something , like the wall in the garage. Camera works but it does not come up automatically. It started as soo. As they did that CSP, which was for the IPMA/PSCM
Gussing you didnt save a backup before making those changes?
There is a motorcraft site where you can get your origional asbuilt data but thats risky since its been so long since its been new.
PSA: NEVER make changes in FORScan without making a backup.
I really question if there will be any meaningful updates of any kind to come. They cant seem to get anything going and there is about to be a new MY to convolute which owners need which software. Heck how long did it take for everyone to get 6.8 to get the stupid SOC digits on the cluster...
if you are referring to the small 360 camera view - I fixed it in 5 minutes with FORScan.
If you are referring to the front camera and 360 not coming up when approaching something, mine has been in the shop for the last 12 days and they cant figure it out.
As stated above, the best you will see is 170ish for about 10 minutes, BUT you should get over 100 unless you are at a high state of charge (over 80%). if you are getting 12-34 at a low state of charge, it has to be SUPER cold or hot, otherwise something isnt right.
But also never assume...
Have you ever used FORScan on your truck? I have. I am wondering if something we have changed may have caused it
Mine has been at the dealer for over a week and they cant figure it out, it worked fine before the CSP, though.
ā22 Lariat ER - in the shop for the 2nd attempt to be fixed from the 24B56 CSP. Unfortunately it was fine before I took it in the first time but now no front camera pops up when approaching any objects. Dealer canāt figure it out, and gave me a MME loaner for who knows how long.
Youād think...
My Lightning is back in the shop trying to get the front camera to work again when approaching an obsticle. I had the small 360 issue but fixed it with the FORScan fix. Dealer reinstalled all module software related to 24B56, including the IPMA Camera module software, but still will not come...
I got one from the hardware store. From those specialty bin drawers, for about $1. I forget the name of the type of screw they are.
The originals must be made of copper because they were very soft torquing them to such a high spec. Probably only good for one torquing.
For me, not until I get an update to at least 1.3, and the price is still at least twice what I would pay, which is unfortunate because I really like using it. Its offensive to me that Ford has their hand out before we even have a mature product that new owners have. It hurts my soul how much...
