Ford should be embarassed that end users have had to fix this problem. The lightning has been out for over 2 years now and no official fix for this. Not everyone is savvy to using FORScan, so they have to endure that ridiculous message.

I had this happen. I closed and locked the doors, used door code to get in and started it. Then the keyboard popped up. Not sure if it’s a 2 step process where the door code must be used but it worked fine for me once I did.

yes I have a feeling that on mine, the tech didnt update the camera module.

Interesting note - for iOS, Google maps will not show the mileage remaining. Apple maps will. On Android Google maps works.

I think it’s worse. My 360 camera is now small and also when I pull up to something in front, like the wall of my garage, the front facing camera no longer pops up. I just get a diagram of the truck showing which sensors are detecting something.

This fix isn’t worth the time IMO. It dinged like crazy going into my garage but failed to switch to the forward facing camera when I was approaching the wall. A step backwards. Also as previously reported, the 360 camera is about half the size it should be now. Thanks Ford for this awesome...

Mine was picked up today for the parking sensor fix as well. They called me and told me that was done and that a new one came out for the front hood module, and they were going to do that one too. He didnt give me the number though.

Well that’s a bit disheartening. Got mine scheduled for next Tuesday but I guess I won’t get my hopes up on getting the errant message taken away.

Its not uncommon for updates to cause a glitch with the front motor. Its usually fine after shutting it off for about 20-30 mins.

Has anyone had issues with wireless CarPlay after installing 6.14? Mine does not connect, even removed and re-added it to CarPlay but will not work unless it’s wired.

Did you also receive ECG-24.2.5.6.1 previously?

Its normal for it to wipe on startup. See this video on how the sensors work. As for the other button presses - sounds like a problem.

I had heard that would work with 6.14 - not really a feature but a nice easter egg.

I got it too. Another unnamed update. Bring on 6.14.
