I 3D printed a new one for about $0.25. Its not a perfect fit for lightning, it does not lock in the closed position, but works perfectly fine otherwise.

I think the 107 MPH limit has more to do with the rating of the tires than ford just wanting to babysit your top speed. 107mph seems reasonable to me in a 8000 lb truck
As is they are about as fast as a 400 volt battery can charge. Thatās why all the newer competition has gone to 800V. If you double the Volts, you half the amperage, allowing for about 2x speed with the same amps.

By my count there hasnāt been anything of significance since before Christmas time when it seemed they were trying to get BC 1.4 out. Just a few fixes and the supercharger update in 2024.
The only thing that will give you worse range than highway speeds is driving on the highway when its cold. DCFC shouldn't matter. Spring is coming, and the range will improve.
