  1. Startup/shutdown sound on Platinum

That's telling you your seatbelt is unbuckled. It's kind of dumb because it's not clear at all that is what the noises mean. I removed the noises with Forscan when I discovered someone had figured out how to do it.
  2. Startup/shutdown sound on Platinum

At some point the Platinum was decontented to fewer speakers. I don't recall if it was 2023 or 2024. Probably worth investigating before taking the truck to the dealership.
  3. Is there really a need to rotate tires if tread wear is symmetrical?

No downside if you are on top of your monitoring. If you wait too long it's possible one or two tires is beyond the replacement threshold and you wouldn't get as much life out of the full set. I think @GoodSam's hypothesis is tires wear evenly on a Lightning the way he drives it. I'd like to...
  4. Startup/shutdown sound on Platinum

Which speaker isn't working? If it's a door speaker you can try reseating the wiring harness. Or you can just take it to the dealership and let them worry about it.
  5. Startup/shutdown sound on Platinum

What sound? There are two possible sounds. Nice sounds and old school buzzer sounds.
  6. Startup/shutdown sound on Platinum

The sounds in the video you posted are only active if your seatbelt is unbuckled. If your seatbelt is buckled when starting and the truck makes no sounds that is what it's supposed to do. If a buzzer sounds behind the instrument panel on startup there is an issue.
  7. Is there really a need to rotate tires if tread wear is symmetrical?

This might be 100% true but when you go to Discount tire they don't look at your tire with a microscope, they measure the tread depth and if it's below some threshold they suggest new tires.
  8. Is there really a need to rotate tires if tread wear is symmetrical?

My initial thought was, "of course you need to rotate your tires and you are an immoral person for suggesting otherwise," but if the tires are wearing evenly and you are paying attention there really isn't a need to rotate. The side benefits of rotating tires are catching suspension and brake...
  9. Ford’s F-150 Lightning is falling behind Tesla’s Cybertruck in deepening EV crisis

I mean, both companies were founded by Nazi sympathizers. Most people have forgiven Ford by this point but I'm not sure "love" is appropriate in any case.
  10. A/C Smell

If it's not dripping while the A/C is running the drain is probably clogged. Static water will create mold and a smell.
  11. System Off to Save Battery message

Maybe you just have a bad battery. I never get battery related messages and my truck frequently sits for days. My wife's Navigator frequently displayed battery related messages until the battery was replaced. It took a couple trips to the dealership to convince them there was a problem but the...
  12. Front brake caliper bracket torque

Those bolts were installed finger tight. One time use or torqued to spec is not critical. Actually using a wrench is super critical. While I appreciate what @Whammy Bar is saying I'd probably just fix it myself and check the torque on anything else that was worked on. Whoever did that has...
  13. Lowered Lightning rear bump stops contact arms

You've effectively reduced your suspension travel to the squish of the bump stop. No getting around that without reengineering the suspension.
  14. Platinum SEATS- cleaning?

Chemical Guys leather cleaner and conditioner and a microfiber towel. Use a light bristled brush for tougher stains. Never use a magic eraser. It will work but it works by sanding off the surface of the leather. The perforation isn't an issue for a light cleaner like the one I linked above...
  15. Heating - Temperature Adjustment

Use Auto. Set the temperature you think will make you comfortable. If you are hot, lower the temperature a couple degrees. If you are cold, raise the temperature a couple degrees. The engineers figured this out so don't have to.
  16. Used to be a big Discount Tire fan, but they're losing me little by little

I meant which Discount Tire. I had a tire replaced in Ann Arbor and despite telling the sales person exactly how to lift the truck the tech was in the process of lifting it by the battery skid plate before I intervened.
  17. Used to be a big Discount Tire fan, but they're losing me little by little

@RickLightning, which location? I'm scratching my head too. It looks like the wheel was laid painted side down on concrete.?
  18. Sigenergy (PointGuard) bi-directional system

I wasn't suggesting a suicide cable is a good idea. Just offering the bare minimum to put energy into the grid.
  19. Sigenergy (PointGuard) bi-directional system

You can put energy into the grid with a source of AC power and a suicide cable. There are more requirements if you want to avoid serious injury or death.
