Be sure to go into the bluepilot menu and set your tuning profile to low. The default is mid and that will be uncomfortable on an F150
Please forgive the incomprehension of this chemical engineer, but how does 60 ohms “load up” less than 120 ohms. doesn't more resistance create more load?
It's an electronics issue having to do with canbus signal reflections on an unterminated stub. You can read the whole techincal discussion here:

The summary is we need to add resistors close to the rearview mirror to...
That's wha the extension harness is for. It's a hardware issue that can't be fixed in software.
I'm going to make a prototype this week of a USB Coupler with resistors that might be a simple solution rather than an extension harness. Will post some pictures as I go. If it works, we might...
DEC blends ACC and experimental mode. It has nothing to do with radar / vision.
DEC exists because experimental mode likes to drive 10mph under the speed limit.
Experimental Mode = stop signs and red lights.
if you turn on experimental make sure you token on dynamic experimental control as well.
Speed Limit Control = speed limit signs, but the feature works a little weird because of comma safety rules. It will never gonfaster than the speed you set...
Make sure you understand the limitations too:
