So last night I disconnected the 12v battery for 5min and the message was still there when I started the truck (Didn't drive it anywhere). I then charged the truck to 100% last night and this morning as I was pulling the truck out of the garage the warning went away on the dash. Drove to work...
Add me to the list as well. Light came on as I was driving to work. I was hoping when I came out on my lunch it would be gone but the wrench is still there. I'll try the battery disconnect tonight to see if it stays cleared. I didn't lose any power on my way to work.
Just under 600mi on the...
I'l take a look tonight and let you know what I find. I believe my truck was shipped back to Michigan to have a module replaced during the stop shipment, so I'll be curious if my sticker is different.
So this week I wanted to try running the battery down to below 50% just to get an idea of actual mileage/range, and today on my way to work I got the dreaded powertrain malfunction/reduced power warning. The truck never lost 100% power, but its funny that the first time I had the truck get near...
I used it for the first week, but found that backing into my garage wasn't as graceful with 1pd and its a game of inches and the last thing I want is a lurch into the work bench. For the past 2 weeks I have been driving in sport mode and it seems to be a better balance for me. I get decent...
Interesting discovery today. I called the fordpass number to check on the points being applied to my account from my lightning purchase. She saw in the system that my modem was activated on 4/5 (when i took delivery), but the truck had a sale date of 1/27/23... That was the day after it...
Being able to change the cabin temp/heated seats on the fly (not a preconditioning) through the fordpass app should already be a thing and it boggles my mind its not an option.
I've never had swings that big, but I have seen one day driving home I'll hit 3.0mi/kwh, and then the next day with the same temp outside its 2.4. I just pay attention to the battery % and that stays the same at about 5-6% battery usage for the drive.
I have about 300mi on my pro so far, averaging 2.8mi/kwh. The truck still says at 90% charge I will have 190mi of range, which seems a bit low for how economical I have been so far with my average daily commutes to work. Does it take a long time for the truck to learn the correct estimate, or is...
The dealer will go off the window sticker price. That page shows $56k for my truck, but the price at the dealer was $60k. But for those who got the price protection up front, they got the full 8-9k in price protection, so I'm expecting the same for me when i hopefully receive a check in the...
Yeah its not something i plan to use all the time, but when the time comes, i'd rather not pull out the gas generators when I have 3 days worth of power in a silent truck. Thanks for the info!
You are right on the current mileage and charge level(not showing percentage). I guess I just find it odd that a lot more data exist in the app, yet its not shared in the truck dashboard on the website.
When you disconnected your ground, did you just open the inlet box and remove the ground from the plug? (still runs to your home panel, just not connected at the inlet end) I saw some trying to do it on the cable itself or even breaking off the ground, but I'd rather not go that route.
I was curious, but is there no way to view the charge history, ev driving, etc. data online like you can in the app? Seems like I can only view my tire pressure, current mileage, and charge level (mileage) on the website.
Yeah where mine is stored in the garage at night, I'll never have frost on the mirrors in the mornings to begin with. I know its not a lot of wasted energy, but I also don't like the idea of it being used 5 days a week when its not needed with uncessary wear and tear.
