First,.I have no interest in owning a RAM. Still I have to wonder if that after introduction of the EV Charger, and how poorly it's selling, and how poor it seems to be as an EV, if they realized they better do a hell of allot better job. Much like Toyota is figuring out now.
If I remember correctly, the person who did the battery testing as part of their job, that gave us degradation data, sttled on charging to 85% as max daily for their own Lightning.
So many reports. I know forums by nature filter for those, but what happened ain't cool, and it sounds like first dealer is one to avoid all together if at all possible
Will be following, wishing your brother the best one this.
From reports here, both SR.and LR essentially charge at the same rate with this update (still waiting here). This potentially means a greater impact for the SR due to being a smaller battery pack. Since 180kw and 130kw dump a proportionally larger fraction of the capacity of the smaller battery...
I love my Lightning, but would have bought a Rivian had it been a real option all other things beitequal. Just because I like the way it looks. Problem is, they aren't equal. Much harder to get any kind of service or repairs on the Rivian. My Lightning was backed into a fewonths ago. Actual...
FWIW, I think Rivian is evolving into a auto OS company. Keep your own line of EV'a to develop on, have theost.advanced software, but license portions of the previous versions to other brands. Basicly what is happening with Volkswagen when Volsweo finally accepted that they really really suck at...
At least in my area (within 200 miles),.there are virtually none available. Been like that for many months. Few people will order the truck they want. I won't because the contracts the dealers bring out to order is so ridiculously one sided to the dealer. Basically they can do absolutely...
There are just a few sites currently that WM owns, so probably be a while before there is a filter. So far there are two Arkansas sites, and two Texas sites that are live. Several more in construction in DFW area, and soon to be Phoenix are the reports. Beyond that, anybody that knows aren't...
Many have reported AOH numbers that have gone back up, or have been high SOH number while having a faulty battery module. The reported AOH numbers seems to be what the.BMS thinks it is. Some people a are of the opinion that it's useful to charge to 100% charge every few months to help BMS...
HARDLY!. Drive your truck 100ph for 30 minutes, then stop and sit for 50 more. Or speed up from zero to 100 for 5 minutes, and then sit for 10 and repeat 60 times. That would be an average speed of 33.3 mph. So do you seriously think you energy consumption would be the same as driving 33.3 mph...
Nah man, not personal at all. Just done with it for trying to help the OP and another person who ask about specifics. Same thing happened in another thread.
You ever hear of these things called stop lights? 7 of them to be exact. Or don't take a photo immediately, but please continue. Sorry your not doing as well. Maybe you should try 1 pedal driving. Run along now.
Screenshots to remove any doubt. Today was 81F and very little wind, and this is the highest I see on my commute home. Also there is roughly a 50' drop in trip elevation coming home so I get a bit higher numbers. Drive into work gets to 3.2 in the morning and with cooler temps.
That's the site I referenced. Even talked to one of the backend people for about 15 minutes one day while charging. He was talking to everyone using the chargers to get peoples thoughts, and what people wanted to see. Hopefully a Sam's membership will cross compatible with Wal Mart. Supposedly...
