  3. First trip with trailer.

6,450 lbs. is the weight of the trailer ONLY fully loaded, with the tires [load range D], and the "hitch" separated from the truck on the scales. The 1,725 lbs. on the placard is for the 4 ply rags that come on the trucks. That also changes when you have load range E tires. Not sure what you old...
  4. First trip with trailer.

Eric this is the only other placard I see. Not sure how important it is once I changed my tires out to load range E.
  5. Fitting Wheel Spacers

Glad too hear you figured it out. I have never been a fan of wheel spacers, I guess there ok if they sit on the center hub and not the lug bolts.
  6. Fitting Wheel Spacers

It’s possible you may have one spacer out of spec. It’s a lot of work, but try swapping front to rear. When doing so if you have some sort of measuring device like calipers or a mic. Check one against the other. Also did your oem 17” wheels come with this truck ? If so try swapping wheel positions.

Sure, let me know what you come up with.
  8. Rear Emblem Removal with Tailgate Step

I’ve done two front emblem change overs. Go to you tube and search Mr. Boom 2021 grill removal. The guy’s got it dialed in. But if you are using a black emblem from a 2020. The 360 degree camera is loose and sloppy. Had to build a plastic bushing. Good luck. Don’t forget the spray washer cover.
  9. Rear Emblem Removal with Tailgate Step

Some plastic trim removals tools may help, sorry I didn’t mention it before.
  10. Rear Emblem Removal with Tailgate Step

I replaced both front and rear emblems. The rear is easy if you have the tail gate step. Just open the tail gate and remove the 13 torx bolts that hold the large black plastic work center on. You will find the plastic bolts that hold the emblem on. Reverse for reassembly.
  11. First trip with trailer.

A couple of other notes. I used 89 octane fuel. No problems with brake controller. Also no signs of oil consumption.
  12. First trip with trailer.

Not sure of the brand, I rescued it from the garbage. Did a rebuild on it, fit perfect. I used three pieces of 6”aluminum I-beam mounted to the bumper with s.s. square u-bolts. Four inch would work also. Very handy, for light weight items.
  13. First trip with trailer.

Pictures are a little deceiving, the trailer model no. is 2375[24 '], 28' overall. I have ran it across the scales before. Even with extra water it has never went over 6,450 lbs. Four wheeler weights 530 lbs. Its a old Yamaha doesn't have all the new tech. Both truck and trailer have new load...
  14. First trip with trailer.

Left the low lands, 39 ft. above sea level. 5.0 motor with max tow. Fully loaded with 85 gallons of water, camping and hunting gear. Plus a four wheeler in the back. had a couple of 1k ft. passes and one 4k ft. pass each way. Filled up at a filling station. I went to leave and started the motor...
  15. Partial Chrome Delete

Yes I painted the badges, they we easy just lightly sand them. I didn’t paint the f-150 lariat part. They pop off easily with a plastic trim tool. Mirror caps were a different story.
  16. Partial Chrome Delete

Looks like a very nice product. If you are a DIY kind of person you can order color match paint from AutomotiveTouchup, [Microfinish LLC]. They have a step by step process. I did my mirror caps and side badges. Also more threads on here for help.
  17. AMP Research Running Boards feedback / review?

There is another Amp power step thread on here that was started by Sentinel1201 on Jun. 11. Good photos and info. Check it out.
  18. Is there a Market for Lariat 20” wheels?

If you are going with 17" rims make sure the fit on the rear of your truck. Gas trucks with max tow package have the larger rear brakes
