If you are going 0 off set you may look at your clearance on your upper control arm. I used factory 18 “ wheels (+ 44 off set I think) with 295/70/18 tires. I had 5/16” clearance between tire and uca.
Well I guess I was there first 5.0. When I called Eibach and ask why is it only for the 3.5, he said that they have a shop in Arizona and the 3.5 is the only vehicle they have installed the struts on. I kind of thought the same thing. Why would you make a strut that is vehicle specific. He...
After the install, I called Eibach. I ask why I got 2 3/4 " of lift. He though it was because the 5.0 and the 3.5 have different struts, and different height spring perch. Also maybe because I have max tow. But if you want only 2" of lift you can chose a lower spring perch. Kind of a trial and...
I
I have the 5.0 with max tow. Had my dealer install the eibach struts only. They used the top spring perch, I thought I was going to get 2” of lift but got 2 3/4”. I went with it. It has been several months now and about 3k miles. Ride and handling great. It settled in at about 2 1/2” no...
I used laminx TINT film coverings for the front and SMOKE for the rear. Super hard to install for an novice like me . Not really happy with the front just OK. My daughter is going back to the guy that tinted her windows, he said $ 40 a corner.
Have you tried a seat belt extender ? I have these in my wife’s Subaru. We use them from the mail box to the house, 1/4 mile. They stay in all the time. Work great and they will fit my f-150. But I can’t talk the wife into riding in the back seat to try them. I’ll get one of the grand kids...
It shows a delivery date for next week. I’m going to try and send them back. If I get stuck with them, I’ll take some pictures and post them. We’ll see how the quality is.
I ordered some side badging over lays for my front fender badges. I recommended this company to another member. Order was placed on 6/2/21. I keep e-mailing them with big apology's and promises on there end. I finely had to open an PayPal return payment case on 8/23/21. Got an e-mail from...
I had to look at mine again, yes mine also uses the solid green also. Good call, I guess I didn't get my head up in there far enough the first time. Glad to see you up and running.
Just looking at mine now, I believe your white and blue wires are correct. Just backed up and read my old post. I mentioned in that post that one of the purple wires has a black stripe on it. And t the other purple wire doesn’t. Check and make sure they are right. Then check the posi-tap...
Hub centric wheels , the center diameter of the rim rides on the center raised ridge of the axel. So all your weight bearing load is on the axel. Lug centric wheels, all the load bearing weight is on the lug bolts. Wheel manufactures make rims with a large center bore so they will fit a lot...
I was looking at the Rough Country kit with the upper control arms, and it said I needed to add a 1/4" front wheel spacer if I were retaining my OEM wheels. I was concerned about my rims not being hub centric any more. I don't like lug centric if I am doing any hauling or towing. This was...
Go to your local tire shops and look for some factory take off wheels. There should be a few around, as a lot of people trade them in on after market wheels. You may find a set you like better. If it happened once it will probably happen again, sorry.
I was not aware of the beefier coil springs either. May explain why I got 2 3/4" of lift when I changed my front struts. I was told I would only get 2".
