Honestly, that's why I am not going into much detail. Munro completely dissected the battery all the way down to the pouches so the cats already out of the bag.
Hey guys/gals,
Wanted to share some photos of a HVB module replacement in a 2022 Lightning Lariat ER.
Truck was showing no signs of issues before getting the call from Ford that it needed a new module. One of the cells fell below the threshold apparently.
The new module is currently getting...
This is the way to go. And like mentioned below if you have the right MTS you won't have to worry about the neutral wire. You just have to get one with a bonded/floating neutral.
And if this isn't ideal I would recommend a Generac whole home generator. Best part? It will work even when you're...
I went and updated my GWM on the Feb 27th and then on March 1st it tried doing an OTA and failed. I went into the update logs and saw that the update I performed on the GWM was the same OTA it was trying to push. When I go into the "updates" tab inside the infotainment screen it shows there's an...
I am adding a under seat subwoofer and plan to use my 100A 12v power supply as the 12v source instead of the LV battery and just plugging the power supply into the 110V outlet in the back of the center console. Benefits being I can remove the stuff quick and I don't have to worry about the tiny...
I was able to say the same until recently. It has been cold, but not 20 degrees cold. And each time my battery temp was in the upper 60's.
They have a note that comes up on the chargers that says they lowered charge speeds for reliability and an update.
If only EA had reliable equipment to justify an increase.. they are literally slowing down chargers to increase charge times, which means more money in their pocket. Last weekend I charged at EA I couldn't get any of the 4 chargers to output more than 68kWh.
You're correct. "Tailgate Assist" is the damper inside the tailgate. It should also "pop" open with the push of the tailgate button. It does not have the raise function like the upper trim levels.
All trim levels have the "Tailgate Assist"
One other way to know if you have the raise function...
I had a shifter fault code come up on my Lightning a few weeks ago. It stated something with the shifter solenoid from what I can remember. Never had a issue shifting the truck back into park though..
The crazy part is we're now in a time where even the shifter has a computer module! No more...
Sounds like the sales dept didn't lock the deal into SmartVincent and report it as sold. With the "no warranty start date" and Ford Pass services not activated this seems the most likely scenario.
One thing that I have really come to appreciate is how similar the Lightning is to the ICE models. Even it's ability to rip cyclones like it's nobody's business!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
