Hey guys/gals,
Wanted to share some photos of a HVB module replacement in a 2022 Lightning Lariat ER.
Truck was showing no signs of issues before getting the call from Ford that it needed a new module. One of the cells fell below the threshold apparently.
The new module is currently getting balanced and will be installed later today or tomorrow.
The module has been on the balancer for 2.5 hours and is only 13% done with the process.
I am not going to go into much detail of the whole process of replacing a module but I will share photos!
The battery pack is currently sitting in a "no walk zone" with cones keeping people away from the HVB being exposed.
I was wearing a rubber suit to get the photos (that's a joke, but it is highly dangerous if something were to fall onto the battery and cross leads).
