Charging to 100% daily is not a problem as long as you don’t leave it sitting fully charged for days. In your case you’re jumping in and driving pretty much right after charging up, no worries there. 100% isn’t *really* 100%, there’s a upper and a lower buffer.

But doesn’t everybody have til the end of March to order, regardless of which invitation wave they were in? I agree the take rate right after wave opens will give Ford a good idea, but certainly not 100%.

And, to answer my second question, the order playbook actually states that unfilled MY22 reservations will “continue to receive invitations to convert *in reservation timing order* when MY23 ordering opens in summer 22.” That should mean no more line skipping. You’re absolutely correct regarding fleets. Privately owned vehicles, I think 5% XL is about right. Just my observation delivering mail here in Mississippi.

Real life observation supports your last point: out of all the recent MY F-150s I see out in the wild, in people’s driveways etc., probably only 5% are XLs aka Pros. Most likely Ford just based trim allocations on previous sales data.

Why were dealers allowed to prioritize and override reservation time stamps? Will there be another round of prioritizations for all the 2022 reservations that will be filled with MY 23 trucks?
