It appears allocations and reservations are totally different(based on statements made by Ford) which in my mind is the scam of this all. But yeah, no one really knows for sure.
what one? I am at Causeway ford on 72 in Stafford on LBI. They talked of no ADM on Bronco's but have not pushed to get anything in writing as didn't get return calls from salesman(though didn't try very hard)
At least in NJ a doc fee in the $300 range is fairly standard so this has some premium but nothing like the multi thousand markups some dealers are putting on this truck. So agree, be annoyed but not worth switching :)
But how would you move the order - in the past people were moving reservations that have not been invited to order. If you were sent a invite to order how do you move a wave 1 invite. Are you still just calling Ford?
It was a bit crazy but the fold down function was really nice. on this truck being able to transport 8' material with tailgate up and rain protected or 10' material and not overhand the tailgate is huge
Haha.. that is funny..I had same experience, I still have not heard from my Ford Dealer but the chevy dealer already called me. She didn't know squat about them as was mostly reaching out as a general lead follow-up and seeing if I needed anything sooner but still nice to get the phone call
From the really long presentation it sounded like there would be a non-40K work truck that would be one of the earlier models the produced with the cheaper model down the road. I am most interested in seeing what they have at 55K-60K-ish. Not loving the idea that I can spec a 74K F150 that...
Not sure I would want to make a 140 mile a day round trip with a 200 mile battery unless you ha ve a charger at the destination. We have a shore house 102 miles from our house. When we are staying there it will be no big deal even with smaller battery. But sometimes I go down there to repair...
I threw my name in as well. I love the folding mid-gate. i was one of the few people that bought a Envoy XUV back in 2004/2005 and loved the folding midgate. It will take me some time to get use to a pickup with a bed that is not separately bolted to the frame other then the honda ridgeline...
I didn't see any compelling reason to get XLT.. I was thinking either PRO and either deal with the manual seats and no cruise controls/lane centering or go Lariat at around $77K.
To be fair is also 64K with a regular battery and 74K with the extended battery which is only about 2K-3K less than the Lariat. I starting this figuring if a base/pro was $40K I could get away with a 50-55K truck. All I really want is adaptive cruise and lane centering and before you know it...
