  1. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

This system would be a competitor to the Tesla powerwall. There would be no way to use any existing components if you already have a Powerwall.
  2. Franklin battery system, V2L, via bed 240, same old ground fault issue, it would seem. Need help...

This is happening because both the truck and house are neutral bonded systems. I reviewed with my electrician and removed the jumper ground wire from the inlet plug in the Reliance box. The box itself is grounded to the house system, but the inlet plug has no direct ground connection to the...
  3. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

PointGuard can do exactly what you are asking if you use their V2X module as well. It is a DC (yes that is correct... DC) home charger solution. It can charge your vehicle or be used to pull energy from the truck as desired. You are somewhat limited to the inverters 11.4 kW rating for AC...
  4. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

Today I had a successful test of using the generator input of my PointGuard Home battery system with the Lightnings Pro Power Onboard (7.2 kW 240V outlet). For reference I have been testing a couple systems. I have the original Ford / Sunrun HIS (which worked for me), and have switched to the...
  5. Having issues with CarPlay not able to send audio to 22’ Lariat.

This is exactly what I do, and is the fastest and easiest way to solve the issue.
  6. 2.6 mi/kWh?

The original post is not about all time efficiency or comparing what you get for individual trip efficiency. The whole point of the post is that the lightning driver display is not capable of displaying a trip efficiency of 2.6 miles/kWh. It will bounce between 2.5 and 2.7 but will never ever...
  7. 2.6 mi/kWh?

I have noticed the same. Never displays 2.6 and I am over 50k miles now.
  8. I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later.

Some automatic transfer switches have generator inputs now where you can easily add them in to charge your batteries. I believe SolArk, PointGuard, maybe EP Cube and others. It may be possible to add some components to your existing system to make it more robust and functional.
  9. I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later.

I don't think people realize how much this battery is worth, even just as a stationary home battery. I would be buying a $17k 130 kWh battery in a heartbeat. If someone can figure out a way to get them out of the car and repackage them where at least they work with the upcoming vehicle to home...
  10. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

While I understand and agree with your point, I wanted to note that HIS and Pro Power are independent systems. Both can work at the same time providing up to 16kW (19.2 kW if you plugged in loads directly to the front as well).
  11. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

I have a PointGuard system, which by itself is an amazing home backup. the 0ms backup time is a real thing and I can go on or off grid without even noticing. There are 3 options I am working on as far as integration with the truck. Option #1 is to save the money I spent on my HIS (which...
  12. Real-World Home Power Backup Options Using F-150 Lightning

I have a 5 ton unit with a LRA of 185A. It has now dropped to 30A and I can run it with my PointGuard system as part of the whole home backup.
  13. Real-World Home Power Backup Options Using F-150 Lightning

I think it has an electronic trip and will not allow for surges. We couldn't even get a power washer going due to inrush.
  14. Poll: Do you use PAAK or Key fob for daily use?

I have only used PAAK for 2.5 years / 50k miles. Only had to use passcode 2x due to unknown issue. With new iphone 16 (about 3 weeks) I have not had even a minor glitch. Only real problem I have had was going to service appointment without keyfob and having to give them my phone so they could...
  15. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

If you go into the vehicle menus and go to phone list, just turning off and back on the icon for CarPlay will re-connect and fix the audio. I think that is quicker than resetting the whole sync system.
  16. Bedrug for 2025 Lariat? BRQ15SCK

I have the classic in my '23. I don't see why the 25 would be any different.
  17. Apple Issues iOS 18.4.1 Update To Fix iOS 18.4 CarPlay Connectivity Issues (in part)

I regret to inform everyone that this does NOT fix the no-audio bug that occurs on occasion with CarPlay. I have updated a couple days ago, but today my CarPlay came up with no volume at all. Quick disconnect and reconnect fixed the issue as always, but it is still so annoying. Like most...
  18. My new Ford Home Integration System + Battery installation project

I got my system through a private sale from another member here, and installed it myself (with assistance from a friend/master electrician), so my cost risk was as low as possible. I do not recommend purchasing this system yet, until all issues are resolved. I do know they are being worked on...
  19. For anyone who owns a Bakflip Revolver tonneau cover

That looks great. I had mine replaced when I first bought mine. Would you mind sending the file? It would be much appreciated, although I haven't had any issues in the last 2 years.
  20. Sigenergy (PointGuard) bi-directional system

PointGuard confirmed to me that the V2X could work without a battery in the stack. I'm not sure the use case for that though. It would work just like the current Ford/Sunrun system (although the 0ms cutover might be possible if the EV was connected and active). Eventually I plan on having 2...
