I think that is why the little lightening bolt tab. It prevents you from pushing fold down button. If needing to fold down shifter, just remove cubby.

Maybe someone will come up with a red plastic light bar that just attached to the Flash tailgate. It would just need to be red and reflective. Could add LEDs and power, but would need to run a wire.

Mine gets installed Monday next week. Will be on inside of garage right by door. Main panel is opposite on exterior wall. Didn't want it outside cause have a stone exterior on house. I will run cord under garage door. Might get one of those cord spaces or a thicker seal if i see any issues.
