I understand why the villagers have their pitchforks out, but let's face it, Ford made a good business decision.
I really enjoy my Pro and I am not inclined to abandon Ford. Carvana just offered $31k on a truck I paid $38.5k 40 months ago. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
I traded in my ICE truck that had the bed rug and swapped the bed rug to the Lightning. I just used new velcro for the bed of the truck.
Get the heavy duty hook and loop velcro and it will stay put.
From what I recall from reading the owner's manual three years ago, all of the doors need to be unlocked for the exterior button to work.
When you are trying to use the exterior frunk button, were all of your doors unlocked?
I put on a set of Wrangler Steadfast HT before GY announced this tire. GY has a 60 day satisfaction guarantee. If you find the tires are too loud, I think the Steadfast are a good option.
"A black vinyl floor is also optional for those who tend to get dirty."
Interesting that Ford lists the vinyl floor as optional. I wonder if that option would be reflected as a credit.
You do not need the paid version to sort by year and trim. You are right, there are no 2022 certified Platinums. Visor shows a total of 16 nationwide. There are 10 2023's and 6 2024's
Just remove the bracket and install plastic rivets in the holes.
I had to do that on my wife's Tahoe because the front license plate holder was huge.
For her bumper, I actually used screw cap covers because her bumper was white and I could not fine white gloss plastic rivets.
No change in range.
Goodyear advertises the tire as an all season, and all terrain.
I would not say it is like a typical AT tire, the tread is a little more aggressive than a street tire but not as aggressive as a true AT like the Wrangler with Kevlar.
