Hey everyone,

I am picking up a set of the 18 inch OEM Lightning rims for my '24 Platinum and wanted to ask for some recommendations for EV tires. I was looking at the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires.

I was interested in some all-seasons that could make it through the Toronto/Canadian winters and was considering stock Ford tires but figured I'd ask the forum for advice. The main purpose is to get better range, so lower rolling resistance would be key, but I also don't want to be riding on bricks. If there's a hybrid between all-season and all-terrain I'd be interested in that too.

Thank you to all in advance!

I just put a set of Wrangler Steadfast HTs on my Pro to replace the OEM tires. Have about 3k miles on them so far and they perform well.
There are a lot of good choices out there but I chose Goodyear because of family connections with GY.

Is that a A/T tire?

Have you seen any change in range? That tire seems to have a more aggressive tread pattern, so I'd assume so...

We went with the Toyo AT III EV's. The primary concerns were noise and acceptable winter performance while being willing to give up a little on range.

Only about 2000 miles so far, but the noise and range hits were trivial. Now I just need to see if that "3 peak" rating gets me anything next winter.

Have to be honest, I'm not really a fan of the aesthetics on these tires, but performance trumps style every time. (And, if you don't believe I really think that, just ask my wife and daughter about my wardrobe.)

No change in range.
Goodyear advertises the tire as an all season, and all terrain.
I would not say it is like a typical AT tire, the tread is a little more aggressive than a street tire but not as aggressive as a true AT like the Wrangler with Kevlar.
