@TJD7, need more info:
Was the FCSP installed by a professional?
What size breaker is it on? What wire gage was used?
What is the switch inside the unit that sets charge rate set to?
Do you have an internet connection to the FCSP? Have you ever had a connection to the FCSP?
I investigated home lift solutions awhile back. I couldn't find anything that was big enough to use the designated jacking points at a price that made sense to me.
I don't want to get under a cheap lift and I'd rather pay someone else to get under their lift than have my own expensive lift so...
Hydroplaning is mainly a function of tire pressure. The formula to figure out what (approximate) speed a vehicle will hydroplane is V=10.35*√p, where p=psi.
If you run 42psi your vehicle will hydroplane on standing water at about 67mph. At 35psi it's about 61mph.
I suspect any difference in...
That's a pretty hot take. I have always had a personal Android phone and I use an iPad for work. They both work. Android tends to have features before Apple and is more configurable. Neither has a must-have thing the other doesn't.
I've used a Samsung S21 and S24 with my Lightning. Both...
Basic financial advice says don't buy insurance for something you can afford to pay for without insurance.
What is the most expensive thing that could go wrong with a Lightning and how much would it cost to repair?
My '22 Platinum has BlueCruise 1.4 and walk-away locks. If others don't have it, they will.
Massaging seats are THE reason to upgrade to a Platinum. I wouldn't consider one without them if I already had a Lightning. My truck has max-recline but I've never used it, FWIW.
This happened to my truck as well. Both motors were replaced under warranty. If it's stuck down it will eventually be ripped off.
My air dam was also removed by a truck tire. I don't recall what the repair bill was.
I've had water in them in the past and now there's not water in them. Seems self-correcting, at least in my case. I wash my truck regularly and it lives outside in Michigan.
Is your truck a pretty princess or is it FORD TOUGH?
You can drive across those pathetic weeds at any speed you want. I recommend doing donuts over them so they know who's boss!
The oldest Lightning is three years old. Battery degradation over time is still a theory. You might be right but treating your battery kindly is pretty easy for most users. If you are wrong it could be very expensive.
Six weeks at the dealership is ridiculous. Six weeks without a loaner is doubly ridiculous.
Whatever they are saying to your brother might sound reasonable, but it's not. Anything other than, "we have made your truck a priority and it won't leave the bay until it's done," is BS.
