Yeah, I went to Costco yesterday….smiled as I drove past the gas pumps. Then, while loading groceries into the Frunk, a guy came around from the back side of my truck asking if I was having any problems….as he got to the front and saw what I was doing, his eyes got as big as saucers and his jaw...
The trucks show up well before the rail ship date….mine was listed in “Inactive“ status for over a month prior to my ship date. This is where to check…

As for your VVR, it will most likely not update again until it reaches the destination rail...
Never mind, answered my own question. I found it in the plastic bag with the tailgate removal kit….of course…where else would you put an unidentified key? Never would have known about it without the OP?
This is what I love about this forum…it’s used by people smarter than me and I learn...
….You may be subject to the potential price increase being discussed elsewhere on this forum….and any possible impacts of changes to the Fed EV Tax Credit….Russian roulette……..
Hopefully, from the parking lot to the truck. Once you show ”In Transit” on the United Road Logistics status webpage, you can track the location of their transport (and your truck) as they have GPS tracking when you tap on the “Track” button that corresponds to your vehicle.
Hoping you get you...
I too ”manually forced” the confirmation of my shipping address 3 weeks ago on SunRun’s website, and again last weekend after Ford’s web site (including posting of my Rewards Points credits) showed my purchase was completed.
I signed/deposited on a bid from my electrician on 5/23 and confirmed...
Now that my FCSP is enroute to me, and after reading about the heat-developed and related shutdown cycling issues, I am evaluating the mounting configuration of my FSCP especially in-light of Ford planning to increase the safety shutdown limits by ~10 deg. F to address the cycling issue.
I need...
No worries….I stumbled across the location of this setting when rooting around the UI on my 2nd day. Had I just read the manual, I would have still had to root around because Ford didn’t make it clear in the manual were this setting is located! “Vehicle Access”….the Frunk is shown at the top...
It appears to be the same with the Lightning…the Owners Manual instructions for disconnecting from a “Charge Station” and a DC Charger differ in the instructions for disconnecting from a DC charger explicitly state to first “push the coupler unlock button”.
@blpublic
Yes, it is buried in the “Vehicle Access” screen of the vehicle’s settings ….not the most intuitive location to put it, and the location of this toggle is not explicitly identified in the Owner’s Manual …..just a general reference to “Vehicle Settings“…just not where in those...
Yeah, I saw that….but given some of the spot temperature readings some people have observed, that is going to make for a hot box…no pun intended. It is going to have me rethink how I’m going to mount it to my wall…probably a fire resistant plywood backer boar…..
I remembered this post from one of the early deliveries who installed (with modification) the OEM mud flaps that should answer your question…..
cc: @PV2EV , @kwalt21
@Gimme_my_MME , I too thank you for that info! I had read that page in the manual while I was following up on my experience….I didn’t read it to mean that this would occur when the truck fully powers down…as mine had.
@Ford Motor Company may want to elaborate in the manual on what...
I don’t know, but mine changed on Sunday…..but, then again, I have my truck and Ford shows it is now sold (that took a week)…I thought the two were related until zI just read your post……
