  1. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Send Ford Motor Company Brian a direct message (see his post) with your VIN and he will check it out.
  2. Replacing Frunk Lamps - anyone done it?

I never understood why Ford makes it so difficult to change light bulbs in their vehicles. My 2001 Ranger had the gas gauge bulb burn out and to change it was very involved - you could not just reach up under the dash and undo it. How many Ford engineers does it take to design a light bulb...
  3. Drivers door window cracked. Replacement cost and Part#?

Oh. I asked AI why and AI says the F-150 has that sound proofing because EVs are so quiet (no ICE noise) that the road noise becomes more apparent - isn't it ironic don't you think? --- EV Silence: Without the noise of a gas engine, road and wind noise are more apparent, making sound dampening...
  4. Aptera goes live on the NASDAQ on October 16, 2025 under the ticker symbol “SEV”

From their email: "Each vehicle has been built on our low-volume validation assembly line in Carlsbad, California, where trained technicians move through 14 stations using processes designed to scale. Running multiple vehicles through the line in sequence validates not only the vehicle itself...
  5. Replacing Frunk Lamps - anyone done it?

Checked mine, no signs of water. :)
  6. Identify ProPower, APIM says 2.4 kw, but 240V available.

Looks like you have only one inverter providing 10A x 230V = 2.3kW They are 'nominal' numbers. In the USA we have a 2.4kW inverter providing 20A x 120V and I know this sounds strange, but either they just didn't change the numbers in the display to 2.3kW from the USA 2.4kW or your 230V outlet...
  7. Pro Power reserve limit fails

    Do you want our VINs?
  8. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Maybe we all need to do what @TaxmanHog suggested in an earlier post and " Submit a trouble report via SYNC system FEEDBACK reporting! "
  9. Pro Power reserve limit fails

None of us have the Sirius XM in our SYNC systems. The suspect is the recent OTA meant to fix some issue with the SYNC system Sirius XM is the source of the problem. That seems to be what we have in common. the "Feature Enhancements" this one: SYNC-25.2.1.6.5.2 which I got on March 3, 2026...
  10. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Bummer. The "0mi" reserve issue happened in my truck as well. When I saw the "0 mi" in the FORD app I went to the truck and changed it and then the FORD app value changed to the new higher value. A weird and new glitch along with the premature shut down. If we all have the 2023 Pro, and that...
  11. Welp, just went "all-in" on an Anker Solix E10 Home Backup system with whole house panel/transfer and 42kWh of battery instead of gambling on HIS

Interesting. They specify LFP batteries - retaining 80% of capcity after 4000 cycles. ---- 11. How long does the Anker SOLIX E10 battery last? E10 uses durable components and retains 80% of its capacity after 4,000 charge cycles. ---- Hopefully you could maximize the lifespan by using a...
  12. 12V battery replacement poll

Good point. That should work after the BMS reset to keep it from getting too low, but will it really charge it back to 100%? I still think a maintainer is the way to go - cheaper and more reliable at restoring the 12v to 100% SOC. With a larger battery the BMC could still let it get 'low'...
  13. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Yes the time it cut off I had run it over 2 hours, maybe 3 hours, so have to try that again and see if any warnings or messages show up when it craps out (if it does). Definitely acted differently recently in the FORD app display of the usage than it did before. Have a good trip!
  14. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Yes, it was added to the FORD app recently in an update.
  15. 12V battery replacement poll

I am not positive this would apply to Lightnings, but I read somewhere that you should update the Body Control Module (BCM) with FORscan to indicate the new larger battery capacity. It may have been an ICE F-150 forum? Not sure how necessary it is, but in theory it should help the BMS keep an...
  16. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Did a test Sunday with the truck ON this time. It did not shut off prematurely and I got an APP message when it was getting close to the reserve. The message was in my In Box - it did not pop up on my screen like a warning should IMO. I only had time to run it for about 1-1/2 hours though, so...
  17. Pro Power reserve limit fails

Maybe the shut down timer got glitched with the update and that is the issue. I think there is a FORscan tweak for the shut down timer...maybe we should try that. I need to test it again with the truck ON and see what happens - maybe I'll set up a camera to record the dash too. later
  18. Apple CarPlay screen freezes

Maybe a recent update to the SYNC system caused an issue with GlueTooth (I assume your phone is using BT). A recent one cause some havoc with my 2023 Pro's PPOB reserve apparently, so who knows what was in it. Many issues with the BlueTooth in F-150s judging from YouToob and the forums.
  19. Drivers door window cracked. Replacement cost and Part#?

Does one really need sound proofing windows? EVs are very quiet to begin with...and with the music cranked up...oh wait, is it to keep sound in or out? Seems a high price to pay.
  20. Pro Power reserve limit fails

An OTA screwed something up on our 2023 MY trucks. No easy way to undo/rollback these updates when they foul things up like you can with a PC. I wonder if we could use the "AS BUILT" settings from FORD - but that would undo the good with the bad I suppose. If we knew in more detail WHAT THE...
