There is a battery module failure that doesn't display any error messages on the IP. In my truck, everything looked normal if I only charged to 85%. If I tried charging more than 85% it would display 100% until the truck was started at which point it would immediately drop to about 87%.
My...
In 1964 Ford sold the first Mustang three days before it was officially announced. Immediately after the announcement anyone could go to a dealership and buy a Mustang or at least order one.
In 2026 Ford announced a new feature in an app and we can't get it until "the first half of 2026." This...
Some sort of garbage your kids left behind despite your insistence they take all their crap out when they get out? I assume that's a universal problem?🤔
How did you get the bike in the truck when you got there?
Revzilla recently did a video on how to load a motorcycle by yourself. As a novice I found it helpful.
I recently hauled my Honda CL360. It was a bit of a pain because I didn't have a ramp to load it. I backed up to a curb and four...
This is correct. Ford designed the headlights in the time between when the law was passed and when the final rule was published. Maybe someone figured the rule would be the same as the EU rule because that is the logical thing. Well, the rule isn't the same.🙄
My Dad isn't around to ask anymore but I suspect the shift linkage was terrible from the factory. I know he carried a screw driver with him. I also know it was a Chevrolet but had a GMC dash installed new and the fenders started rusting before it left the lot.
There is no wrong answer. It's a truck that was designed for all conditions. Plug it in if you want. Leave it unplugged if there are roving gangs of EV charger thieves in your area.
I frequently leave my truck unplugged in an airport parking lot in all weather conditions. The biggest threat is...
Eliminating tax incentives, CAFE standard rollbacks, eliminating penalties for companies that don't meet emission standards, withholding EV charging infrastructure funds, rescinding California's ability to set it's own standards, reorienting national priorities around fossil fuels and nuclear...
Ford has lost over $100,000 on each MachE and Lightning it sold. I think instead of telling them they should keep doing that we should just say, thank you.
Thank you, @Ford Motor Company
You are pretty close. A parking pawl interacts with a gear to lock the transmission. On anything but perfectly flat ground the truck will settle a few inches forward or backward depending on grade.
I deal with this by holding the brakes while shifting to Park and slowly releasing them so it...
Crazy! A similar thing happened to me...
This morning on my way to work, I was stopped at a light and a Miata pulled up next to me. He looked over and had a stupid grin on his face. Normally I am proud to drive the Dodge Viper, but the truth be told, I felt a little wave of embarrassment flood...
This is a good point. I hadn't considered this because my truck has under seat storage which mitigates the problem.
This doesn't really work when you want to warm up the back seat. In general, heat comes out the floor vents and cool air comes out the vents on the dash.
There are vents under the front seats. If Driver Focused is on it doesn't blow air through those vents. I run in Auto level 3 all the time. This is applicable for a 2022 so there might be a difference in a 2025.
