My truck received an OTA update (away from my home wifi, btw), and I can't seem to find the version. Past ones have the version right in the notification message. I checked in the truck and it looks substantially the same as this info:
What am I missing?
Cybertruck showed off this feature charging the Cyberquad in 2019. So it might be the other way around...(although maybe it was inspired by an earlier PPO implementation?)
Yeah, with cabin preconditioning the ice melted off the windshield, but resolidified on the wiper armatures. Everything not touching the cabin never melts because there is no engine producing waste heat.
Are they waiting on parts or engineers? I'd at least try to get that sorted out. If just waiting on a new module to replace the DOA one it can't be that hard. Have you contacted @Ford Motor Company ?
FWiW, I came across some surfaces that were more slippery (packed snow that had turned icy). At parking lot speeds I was able to get 1-pedal regen to slip and it actually applied antilock braking and still came to complete stop and did not disengage.
I got to try out some slippery driving today. Well packed snow, but not pure ice. I left it in normal 1-pedal driving just for fun and I tried to get it to slip by letting off the accelerator quickly. It never slipped and felt and sounded completely normal with normal steering control. I even...
I guess I'm your guy...
Truck was outside unplugged as temps dropped to at least -7F (it had been unplugged longer, but temps just dropped yesterday). Today it would not start with the following errors (and would only go into accessory mode (yes, brake pedal was depressed)):
Plugged it in...
Reapplying the accelerator is going to be much faster, and I imagine some would argue more controllable.
The ideal solution is for the computers to recognize that regen has locked up the wheels and lessen the regen (anti-lock regen). Newer cars may have this. I've only experienced the situation...
