In general I choose my comfort level based on conditions, usually 10% arrival, and then monitor and determine how much slow down may be required to arrive with > 0% (usually none). Then use that as feedback for the next charge. [Note: it's OK to use up that 10% buffer you started with.]

Be careful, if they're hot they will be HOT! I.e. don't touch! Probably would be able to smell them, feel for radiant heat, use a few drops of water, or an IR camera.
Good question and interesting answers to think about. To add another the rear tires will carry more weight more often as the bed is used. I've carried some pretty heavy loads at highway speeds.
I skipped my first rotation due to even tread wear. No ill effects yet after 10K more miles.
Being within 50 miles is cold comfort if it's not "on the way". I've been in the situation where I've been within 40 miles of one, but it was not on the way, so I figured 40 miles there 40 miles back, chilly spring day, 80% realistic charge, 1.5 hours of driving, 45 minutes of charging, it all...
I happen to live close to some DCFC's in a rural state, but I am much more interested in what is 50-100 miles away from home, because I very rarely use the ones close to home either as I leave for a trip fully-charged or as I get back from a trip (I'll just coast it in if I have to).
I researched cordless electric trimmers quite a bit and landed on the EGO (Model #: ST1623T). I was primarily focused on power, and I've been happy with it.
Side note: the batteries may be interesting for playing with because I don't believe they require any communications to get the power...
Hooray! Spring is springing! 55F today. Picked up some free pallets using our little Harbor Freight trailer. Got 2.4 miles/kwh unladen on the 60 miles there and 2.0 mi/kwh on the way back with the pallets. (All 55 MPH and under.) Zero range anxiety, left with 95% charge, got back with 33%, yay...
The frunk is where I keep all the truck stuff: ratchet straps, gloves, etc. I don't have a tonneau cover, so the frunk is the out-of-sight lockable storage area.
