The Ford Charge Pro is a J1772 handle, it is AC charging, not DC charging. Uses a 100amp AC breaker.
[edit]apparently I'm wrong, I see the CCS1 pins on the charging connector. But why...this is an AC only charger.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAE_J1772 rated for up to 80A, but anyway.
I guess I should have clarified that. I always, always, always drive the speed limit in neighborhoods. I've had kids run out in front of me before, not in this truck, but in the past.
I had one particularly close call when I was young and delivering pizzas while I was going to college 30+...
I mean I appreciate you guys like the mats that you have but it's not really topical. The thread is not "what mats did you get" the thread is, "I got these particular ones and here is the information".
The Amazon chinesium ones I linked to and put in my truck are significantly less expensive...
Not me, I'm gonna romp on it when I want/need to romp on it. And sometimes when I don't. Playing the efficiency game is for long trips, of which we've only taken 1.
I just don't DC fast charge often enough to see any potential differences from the software updates in my SR. But I saw over 170Kwh multiple times at Tesla Superchargers when we took our road trip on Spring Break.
That was March and I haven't fast charged once since then.
I am on Amazon Vine and I check every day for things I can pick up for my truck that might be useful. Well last week these mats popped up so I ordered them:
(Not an affiliate link btw)...
I would buy one at the right price. They are definitely a lot more maneuverable than the Lightning. I drove one previously and liked it a lot. It's weird looking, but there is something about the in-your-face styling that appeals to me.
However, they haven't been even close to the right...
I had a buddy with a car like that in the late 80s early 90s. Had a 406 with camel humps and a 280ish cam, it would go pretty good. 3500 stall, 3.73s, IIRC.
I think something like this would be more helpful for what you get with this charger, assuming you had a 12/3 to work with:

that'll get you 240V at 20A....3.3kw charging with this unit.
I've been looking for some paint matching door handle covers for my 24 XLT but not finding anything reasonable. You can get chrome or gloss black for $20-$25, and I know the gloss black ones are painted. I've found tons of white ones for the trucks with the smart keys that have the two buttons...
I'm assuming since I saw two tents, the family was along as well? Nice write up. How much charge did you start the trail with and end the trail with? I see you have an ER.
Just asking because, I have an SR lol and this is a feasible trip from Central Texas. This is national forest land or...
The math of this attempt makes my brain hurt.
At the Seligman NEMA 14-50R, at best you will get around 9kw/hr assuming your EVSE does the full 40 amps allowed on a 14-50R. That would get you 20.6% after 3 hours.
If you're using the Ford Mobile Charger you will only get 32 amps and about 7kw...
The pucker factor on this one will be high! 113 miles with major elevation gain. It would be impossible in an SR like mine, while towing a trailer.
It's been about 10 years since I've been out that way but it seemed at the time going westbound on I-40 from Flagstaff that it was downhill...
Thanks for reviving this thread, I have now suscribed to the OP's YouTube channel and look forward to consuming more content. We are looking at ultra-light travel trailers to tow to the coast, but this might be an option.
I have a 65cm Rivendell Clem Smith Jr bicycle that will not fit in my back seat area with the seat up, even if I remove the front wheel. Not going to remove the back wheel cause it's dirty.
Said bicycle weighs probably 40lbs, so I've kind of been hesitant about getting a regular hitch mounted...
