That's not correct. You tell it once.
Fair enough. I'll still never use Ford Nav and it's NBD to me if it's good, bad or indifferent. There's so many other great tools that are so much better.

See this is part of the larger problem. I was only using the Ford Nav because I had an AI box plugged in and therefore I wasn’t able to use my CarPlay. I got tired of looking directly at my phone so I turned on the Ford NAV as a backup navigation.

Most of us are savvy enough to use various navigation options to figure out the best ways to charge and navigate. This is a harder sell for less tech savvy people who might take in interest in purchasing an EV for the first time. I was recommending to my dad that he get a Mach E, but now I can’t recommend it anymore. Navigation/road trip charging needs to be simple and fool proof in order to get mass buy in from the public.

I prefer the SYNC 4 navigation in spite of its shortcomings, but after the most recent update that includes Superchargers it is much more usable as a result. Would be nice if you could set preference weights to various CPOs to place them at the highest priority first as I prefer to exclusively use the Supercharger network on roadtrips.

Only reason why I'd use Android Auto is when I have a destination in my phone and I'm in a rush to enter it into SYNC 4. Configuration settings are still in the truck with the integration with the Ford app - hopefully that will be coming up soon. Any details about this you can share @Ford Motor Company

I will be dc charging in -20c and +35
And I was using the navigation to do this

happily retired!
Just did a trip from PA to NC and back last weekend, sitting in a mall parking lot with 31 miles left, all my apps failed to find a fast charger in range, ABRP, PlugShare, Tesla, ChargePoint, Electrify America, Sheetz, Ford sent me to a empty lot of trees, That’s how I got so screwed!
My last hope was Google Maps , sure enough, a Tesla charger at a Sheetz store 3 miles away, my Sheetz store app didn’t even show it’s own store and charger.
Why can’t the highways put up a sticker on the signs like there are for gas stations? If you wanted a piece of chicken there are plenty of signs for that! Totally ridiculous, we need to start firing some politicians!

Businesses have to pay to put those signs up and they can add charger info. I’ve seen a few that have EV charging on their sign but I haven’t seen a separate category.

True. I just got back from a 17 day vacation in Brazil and we rode tons of Ubers, only a couple of them used Carplay or Android Auto despite pretty much every car being compatible. You don't want to have your phone out just running around random parts of Sao Paulo and Rio because there have been documented incidents of windows being smashed to grab phones at stoplights. But most of the Uber drivers seem to do it anyway.

note: my wife is Brazilian, not sure I would recommend Uber to just any random visiting American.
