  1. Wave 2 order invitation emails being delivered. PRO trim unavailable.

The day this truck went from being available for $40k, or ~$50k for ER as many hoped/thought it would be, and became $70k+ for ER (seems quaint after the price increase), it became a much shittier proposition. Not to mention the +$10k for the home integration that was such a centerpiece of its’...
  2. (WTF) No Drain Plug in Mega Power Frunk!?

It’s supposed to have one, right? https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/more-vehicle-topics/storage-and-trunk/what-is-a-mega-power-frunk/ edit - realized OP wanted a drain plug, which makes no sense. Anyway, carry on.
  3. Where did the extra range (230 to 240) come from?

    nope, you’ve always had it.

  5. 2023 Lightning Build and Price is Live .... $5000+ increase in price

I guess if I ever get to convert my order, and a PRO is available, I'll still think about it. But the deal keeps getting worse...

  8. Ford EV Tax Credits May Run Out Sooner Than Expected

Agreed…I’m not a fan, and certainly don’t trust him. More corroboration: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-07-27/senate-deal-includes-ev-tax-credits-sought-by-tesla-toyota?sref=Vi7wu7Hv
  9. Ford EV Tax Credits May Run Out Sooner Than Expected

He’s sponsoring this one, so hopefully not in this case.
  10. Ford EV Tax Credits May Run Out Sooner Than Expected

Might be back in play… No idea how this will work in terms of automakers that have exhausted their credits, I don’t think any details are out, but this rumored bill that manchin has signed off on apparently includes the $7500 credit: “The deal will also include a means-tested $7,500 tax credit...
  11. 2024 Tacoma EV + ICE previews, info, development & schedule

This first EV by Toyota definitely seems like a mess. They’ll still sell every one. That’s not going to cut it long term, but they’ll figure it out.
  12. BlueCruise unstable on curvy roads

Not sure I’ve read a positive bluecruise review yet…seems like ford is way behind GM (and tesla, i guess)
  13. My thoughts: Lariat Test Drive, showroom Pro

I didn’t order the maverick, but lucked out as my local dealer had a buyer of a XL back out, so I took it in early January. So it’s bare bones, didn’t even have cruise (I added it later by swapping out steering wheel switches and forscan), but overall it’s a pretty amazing vehicle. Agree on...
  14. My thoughts: Lariat Test Drive, showroom Pro

Totally agree. I guess it’ll come down to timing - by the time I can order one, will there be a plug in ranger or Tacoma announced? My maverick is getting 42mpg right now, and 50+ non-highway…so don’t really have to be in a huge rush. 230 would be fine, though it would certainly limit it’s use...
  15. My thoughts: Lariat Test Drive, showroom Pro

Appreciate the feedback on the PRO, especially the seats…depending on when I’m able to order, I think I’m PRO or bust.
  16. Tesla opening superchargers to non-tesla vehicles in the US

I’m not sure you made it possible, but you did buy a car?
  17. Tesla opening superchargers to non-tesla vehicles in the US

What’s been your experience w/ superchargers being operable vs inactive? Does tesla handle the maintenance in house?
