Also, I found post #14 in this thread educational:

Not ridiculous if everyone gets what they want. And if it's me, and I can roll right up to an always available and always reliably >120kW DCFC if everyone else's systems are slow & overcrowded? I'll pay. I value my time.
Probably not EA anytime soon, but it would be nice if they proved me wrong.
Exactly this. I never have range axiety, but I do have availability and functinality anxiety. I'd be happy to spend $1/kWh on my (very rare) road-trips if it discouraged some non-road-trippers that could otherwise charge at home or a public L2 when appropriate. And a much higher price this would...
I'm referring to filing my completed state income tax return with TT. There is no "tax-affiliated" Cali credit for EV's.
You probably already know this, if you're eligible, you can apply for a rebate in California:

I'm still stuck(*), but as everyone here has said, I probably shouldn't care about getting this update. Unless....
Is not completing this DTE update skunking the truck's ability to go to Power Up 4.1.1? Or whatever the next Power Up update I should be getting, whatever, whenever?

It sounds like you have the EV-TOU-5 rate plan (I do as well). SDG&E raised all rate plans on 1/1/23. and EV-TOU-5 is now ~$0.15 off peak and the on-peak rates are ~$0.51 (winter) or ~$0.82 (summer).
This is my manual transfer switch, 4 circuits, 120V single-pole:

It is not neutral-switching. So the adapter (I only need one, not three but they're cheap) in the Amazon link above is just isolating the ground for a NEMA 5-15 outlet. As...
I haven't been there yet, but the New Braunfels Bu-cee's (I believe that's the largest Bu-cee's, and that's saying something) has a 24-stall Tesla Supercharger.
I have a single-pole (120V) four-circuit manual transfer switch that is *not* neutral-switching. It was setup to use with portable backup battery systems--a large Goal Zero system in my setup (otherwise used for camping & such).
Breakers are 15 amps. In the event of a prolonged power outage, I...
I dunno, a part of me thinks you should still name & shame the dealership. That they claimed ADM on the reservation step (before or after you busted them on the $0 ADM from your online order?)--that was a straight up lie to steal $10k from you.
deer whistles: yea or nay? opinions, recommendations?
A couple years ago I road-tripped my MS to Austin from SD. I lived in Austin & hill country for a while, so I knew what to expect....I was white-knuckling that final leg eastbound on 290 after 10pm.
I got PowerUp 3.5.2 about two days ago, initially no PaaK. I took the advice from other threads here--Logged out and back into Ford Pass and PaaK setup appeared.
I've been using ONR on my Model S for four years, and did my first Lightning wash with it last weekend. I only use 1/2 gallon distilled water, mix in 1/2 cap-full of ONR, and the "two bucket" method.
Love it, works great.
