Is it possible that our trucks could show up at our dealer without having seen the module or order pages updated?
Thanks

I believe that to truly be the case for most of them. Ford's system has always lagged by a couple of weeks.

Our week truly hit at just the right time I believe to start rolling off the line directly onto trucks and rail cars as they were loading up the back log.

I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one or two deliveries by the end of this week for those close by. I think just one to two more weeks for those rail cars to make their way across the country.

One thing to note, I believe to date every Lightning has said Convoy on the sticker, ours to TX included. However we note that many if not the majority are going by rail if not within a few hours of the factory. Hoping that doesn't slow us down.

If you have a good relationship with your dealer and they are helpful - their in house reporting will give you a rail car number once it is loaded on a train. Then you can track that.

I do have a great relationship with them. I've been trying not to bother them but I'll check in tomorrow as we are now getting closer.

Greg

Are you going to use the Tesla charger with an adapter to charge the Lightning?

I have a Porsche Taycan Turbo S and am going to use the Porsche charger until my Pro charger arrives.

I won't use the Tesla charger, I'm lucky enough to be able to run 2 setups out of my electrical panel.

I have both a 14-50 plug for one Model 3 (uses the mobile connector) and I have a Tesla WC (60 amp breaker) that I use for the other model 3. So for the first few weeks, I'll used the Ford Mobile charger for the truck plugged into the 14-50. Once the Pro charger arrives I'll swap them around. I'll replace the Tesla WC, with the Ford charge station Pro to get it on the 60 amp circuit and I'll switch the remaining model 3 back to a Mobile charger.

We could easily get away with a single charger as we don't drive a ton of miles, but I really like being able to plug them both in during the winter for warming the battery and cabin in the mornings before the commute.

My Tesla WC is a Gen 2 so it doesn't have wifi. I'm hopeful moving to the Charge Station Pro the wifi will give some good insight to the charger along with remote control and stats about the charging sessions.

Understood...

My Porsche charger is WIFI enabled and it is nice to have the connectivity with the car/charger/App

I'm going to have my electrician run a dedicated 100A circuit for the Ford charger to take full advantage of its capability and possible future HIS addition. I'll use it to charge both vehicles. I have a four mile commute so I won't be struggling for charging!

Here it is - it is our week AGAIN. Two weeks ago built and most should have modules popped by now. This week we should be getting built and shipped emails. If you are truly lucky and closer to Detroit might even get a truck start to pop up at a dealer by the end of the week.

Truly no reports of a truck being delivered to TX at all yet, but since we know they are moving I'm sticking with my hopeful date of June 24 at the latest for delivery. I'd really like to think they could do it by the 17th, but only time will tell.
What are you talking about❓ I’m build 4/20, no built, no ship email, no truck. Relax they’re shipping off the line faster than the early produced. 5/12 build delivered 10 miles from house last week.
your’re in good shape.

I understand - that is the truly unfortunate part - they have totally screwed over you guys built in the first 2 to 3 weeks. Buried your trucks so they couldn't get to them or doing some sort of rework, who the heck knows.

To say the least guys built the week before us (speaking to the 5/23 crowd here) are getting notices of built. So all I can say is I'm hoping they grab your truck along with ours, but truly we should be on rail cars and trucks by now.

There was a time it was about 6 weeks for a special order - 3 to build and 3 to ship, most anywhere. So we've been built for a couple of weeks already. If they've got most of that backlog loaded up we should be right behind them.
