Anyone able to negotiate deals below MSRP on Lariats at this point? I’m getting mixed signals about the current demand for ‘23 Lariats.

If cars.com is any indication there may be deals out there for a few grand off MSRP if you're willing to work and look nationwide for inventory.

Same here, $5k off and likely the same dealer as previous mentioned as they did post about it here. Not sure if they are still offering it though. At this point, not sure any order is going to get delivered before EoY so pricing on ‘24s may not have any MSRP discounts once again.

I know they had a quota to meet in Sept for orders not sure now. Sounds like dealer orders are a no go now. only customoter/special orders

I can point you to three different dealerships in Ohio who offered me $5,000 below MSRP. That was in September.

Sounds like there is now $7500 Ford customer cash available for ‘23 lariat starting with the ‘24 MY announcement.

I’m thinking of Leasing because EV tech is advancing so rapidly and like the lower payments and don’t care about ownership.

Any expert negotiators have thoughts on when I should bring up asking for the dealer to pass along the $7500 tax credit they receive (when I lease) in the form of a reduction on the price? I normally negotiate a purchase price over email before going to a dealer and then I tell them how I’m going to pay (finance or lease) after we’ve agreed on purchase price and value of my trade in but the tax credit thing is a wrinkle…

It's my understanding that the $7,500 federal tax credit is deducted off of the purchase price on qualifying vehicles on MY 2023 and MY 2024 beginning 1/1/2024.

This is something different that the fed tax credit. It is more money off from ford.

I can't prove it, but I can confirm it. These are the lease incentives for the Detroit area. The purchase incentives are $7500 for each model, excluding the Pro.

Any insight into financing changes as of today? Are they still offering 1.9 for 36 months?
The $5000 off is awesome but wondering if the rub is, would previous retail order customers who will take possession now have to choose between low finance rate or $5000 off…or can they get both?!

Just asked my dealer about the $7500 rebate and he said the only thing he can find is 1500.
He also said this: “Ford has priced them like they did with the Mach E, with no room or intent to allow discounting outside of offered incentives.”

think I need to go to a different dealer.

I don't have the ability to run a Smart Vincent. Your dealer will have to answer that.
