Long time lurker here.
I have a 22 XLT Mannequin. Early on in ownership, I noticed that the headlights/tail lights were on any time the truck was running. The dash also showed the green headlight icon. I thought this was normal behavior, but then noticed that other lightnings in broad daylight had only the light bar and the white LEDs between the upper and lower lamps illuminated in the daytime.
I took the truck into the dealer, and they found that the ambient light sensor showed "not present/turned off" in the BCM programming. They corrected that issue, so now the lights work normally in the daytime. However, another issue arose. The current issue, is that when I unlock the doors with the remote, approach, or use the keypad, only the tail lights, puddle lights, and running board lights illuminate, but not any lighting on the front of the truck. When I start it up, the lights on the front all turn on like they should. The dealer says they have no idea.
Is there something I can do with an update or change something in Forscan myself to correct this?
Thanks in advance!
