I’ve noticed my truck acting weird after a recent update. I had the recall done for 25C69 plus an OBCC and several other module updates.
  • The grille shutters randomly activate and the cooling fan starts when the truck is sitting parked in the garage. The truck is unplugged and it’s 44 outside. I didn’t have the key with me when I saw this happen.
  • The fan now turns on when AC charging when it’s not hot out.
  • The grille shutters closed when I unplugged the truck from the charger and the fan turned on again for a few minutes.
  • I got the notification from the Ford app that charging was complete but when I went out to the truck the blue light was still blinking to indicate it was charging. It eventually turned off.
This is all new behavior that wasn’t happening before. I’m debating pulling the negative terminal on the battery for a few minutes to see if that helps anything.

Has anyone else noticed this kind of behavior on their truck?

Just pulled in to get the recall 25C69/25V863 fixed, park pawl . We'll see what happens. Last update I got didn't go through. Maybe they'll get it on this one. Not sure why they can't push a software update over the air, unless they just want more foot traffic going into dealerships.

An OTA that requires immobilization can trigger a number of smaller updates that can do weird things like you describe while those updates process. Give it 24 hours and see if the symptoms go away first.
