My concern is that Ford will deny any warranty claim with the excuse that the vehicle haven't been maintained if there isn't a record of it.

So I bring it in for the paper trail, not for the excellent service they (don't) provide.
I understand your "service record" point, believe me.

BTW, a "self-service" record with dates and checks etc. has been recognized as sufficient for warranty sustainment. Of course, every state is different so Your state may happen vary.

This is even more justified IMHO as the dealership "services" on our Lightnings are basically checks. No fluid changes until the aforementioned Mercon motor flush & refill at 140,000 miles. An occasional FDRS receipt from Ford should certainly serve as a "self-service check" in this regard, as well as that cabin filter replacement self-purchase receipt.

My 30k checkup occurred at 32.5k as I waited until 25C69 & 26C10 recalls could be done. I asked for a battery check and it failed, so they installed a new 36 month battery without charge. They also paid for the Lyft ride "home" since it was going to take awhile for the recalls.
The $25 tire rotation was the only charge.
Thank You FORD
