I have seen one reddit/f150gen14/somewhere that bluecruise/Active Lane keeping Assist works when towing

Some are 2022 but some are 2023 trucks

Since I know my truck is BC1.0 and as long as I connect 4pin, all advance driving assistance are disabled.

Put liability/trust/whatever non-technical issue aside. but is this a software version issue?

Maybe it requires BC1.2/1.3/1.4?

Can someone shed me some light?

(I have WD and Sway Control System on the trailer, and I'm not towing anything above 3000lb, so I think minor turblance is manageable with active lane keeping assistance system)

I haven’t towed since fall of last year, but the last time I did, my active cruise was functional.

I want to say bluecruise was not, but lane centering was, but my memory is a little fuzzy for those two. I remember trying it to see if it works but kept it off as I was towing 9,000lbs…

There are 2 modes for lane centering
Active and Passive

Passive one is the one without ( ) or [ ]
Active one is ( ) or [ ] on assistance page

I've towed our Camper for over 20,000 miles, and much of those while ACTIVE LANE CENTERING is active - it works just like without towing - keeps it centered.

This is after I ADDED this option to my PRO, which came without it.
