Okay you can all kick me the next time you see me! I had to go back to the dealer because my temporary plates expired before my permanent ones came. The kid who came out to put on my plate said let me check it out. He hops in the truck, hits a couple buttons on the steering wheel, and says "you should be good" ! I had no idea there was a button on the steering wheel that turns off the lane keep assist! And apparently no matter what I do on the screen when trying to turn on adaptive cruise control will override this. Now I know where that button is and also know what that silly spider looking icon is on the screen, and I'll be able to turn it back on whenever I inadvertently hit the steering wheel button! I feel so silly! And thanks so much to @Ted23Lightning for those edits to my picture explaining everything!
