As an iPhone user, I wanted Sync screen access to the Car Scanner and Torque Pro (Android-only);apps, something Apple CarPlay doesn’t provide.
Today I setup my AutoKit T-Box that I had originally purchased and used on my 2018 Accord. https://autokitcarplay.com/pages/t-box
I now have Android Auto projecting on my Sync 4a screen via CarPlay
I no longer need to put Car Scanner and Torque Pro into windshield projection mode and place my iPhone on my dash…..and, I have ready access to the various CarScannr & Torque Pro dashboards via a swipe of the screen…….
I’m now lo longer waiting on @Ford Motor Company to send out an OTA that will provide me more realtime operation/use data for my truck
