Beeping Power Tailgate Delete

In case any FORScan gurus are bored and want to dig around, would be nice to not have the tailgate beep when opening or closing remotely. When the physical button is pressed on the tailgate there is not beeping, but when using the remote or button in the cab it announces itself loudly for a few seconds and while moving.

I know it's for safety (or Ford CYA), but after deleting the pedestrian sounder and backup alarm I'm loving the quiet!

There is a module in the tailgate and it makes the beeping internally - there is no external speaker. I've thought about putting sound deadening pad all over it but that seems a bit irreversible.

I know, first-world problems....

I don't mind that beeping, but the 7 or so alerts that pop up when my tailgate is down and I'm backing up are brutal. ha

Right? I can't imagine needing to haul something longer in the bed and having it yell at me for the tailgate, constantly.

My GF called it when I first got the truck. "I'm getting jealous of the truck. It yells at him more than I do."
