Just got this email from bpPulse

Plus, great news for Ford & BMW drivers – we've introduced Plug & Charge on our 400kW chargers! This means that when you plug into one of these chargers at our sites, your vehicle will be automatically identified and begin charging – no need to pay manually or figure out an app*. Find your nearest site with 400kW chargers on our map.

Checking the BlueOval network, bpPulse is there. Not sure if was there before.

I helped a Lightning owner out at a bpPulse station a week ago and his truck didn't Plug N Charge. So new development.

I'm glad. bpPulse has been building out. Enough stations. Plenty of space for trailers. Alphitronic 400kW stations. At good travel centers with bathrooms.

The bpPulse app has been giving me issues starting the charge, so going thru Ford Blue Oval will take away that frustration.

Hope this spreads awareness for everyone that we got a new convenient charging option.

My question is, since Blue Oval doesn't do discounts. bpPulse does Time of Day pricing. What price will we get charged on Blue Oval?

More options are good. Plug and charge is good for a backup option in low cell service areas. It frequently won’t get you the best pricing. Anything that limits the number of charge app subscriptions is likely a good thing. I just deleted my EVgo account because they randomly charged me for someone else’s session.
