My truck went in to production today. I have been so excited for it for so long, but I just don't think it's going to work out.
It is a 2023 Lariat ER in Avalanche. Hopefully it will be available for pick-up before the end of the year so the tax rebate will still count even though it's MSRP is over $80,000.
I'm not looking to flip it, and the dealer did say they could refund my deposit if I change my mind (we will see what happens with that). But do any of you know whether I could have someone else buy it in my place? If I can recoup my $600 worth of deposits and help someone else out, I'd prefer that over letting my dealership sell it for $119,000.
I'm in Northern Utah.
