My truck went in to production today. I have been so excited for it for so long, but I just don't think it's going to work out.

It is a 2023 Lariat ER in Avalanche. Hopefully it will be available for pick-up before the end of the year so the tax rebate will still count even though it's MSRP is over $80,000.

I'm not looking to flip it, and the dealer did say they could refund my deposit if I change my mind (we will see what happens with that). But do any of you know whether I could have someone else buy it in my place? If I can recoup my $600 worth of deposits and help someone else out, I'd prefer that over letting my dealership sell it for $119,000.

I'm in Northern Utah.

The quick answer is no you cannot transfer your reservation/order to another person. There may be exceptions for direct family members or something like that. Otherwise either you let the dealer take it or you buy it and then flip it.

You can cosign with someone else, otherwise, it will be considered selling it to someone else. That is probably the easiest way to do it or you surrender the vehicle.
