I just wanted to leave a note/recommendation. I am about six months into my ownership of the lightning after 10yrs of Tesla Models S cars. We had the have the Tesla Home Charger, so we needed an adapter. Because of price I initially choose the Lectron. I found that the speed would quickly drop to 5kw/hr - less than 1/2 what I had with my Tesla Model S. The adapter was very hot to the touch.
After posting on Lightning Reddit Forum, the recommendation from a few was to go with @A2ZEV. I am already using their fast charger adapter and had not issues.
Since changing, the Lightning charges constantly at 10 kw/hr and no temp problems. Not sure how this might be related, but my range has increased from +/- 285 miles at 100% back to +/- 320 miles.
