I am trying to discover what modules in the Norwegian 2023 Lariat SR that is unoriginal. So far I have found the:

- BECM switched from XXX to NL38-10B687-XA
- TCU switched from PL3T-14H076-FNF to NU5T-14H074-CHE

And possibly:

- RTM - Radio Transceiver Module from XXX to FT4T-15K619-AB (or any part that enables DAB radio and removes SiriusXM)

Anyone with a 2023 Lariat willing to share their configuration file?

Afaik, the versions they keep on file are the originals. Files as they were built.

Yes, and I have them. But the german engineers switched components from other vehicles. The BECM is from an E-Transit, and the DAB module is from something else, maybe a MME?

I want to check if other components are switched as well.

ACM handles DAB

The file you posted is from Forscan. On the Motorcraft As-built site, you have to download the file to see module info. The module info is at the bottom of the file described by <NODEID> tags. For example, the F188 tag is what Forscan refers to as Strategy and CarScanner refers to as ECU Software Number. I don’t know which Fxxx corresponds to Part Number though, maybe @Jesse-Infotainment or @rugedraw knows.

Things may be different than when you were a tech. The As-built files on the Motorcraft site get updated with current module versions and any parameters you modified. The file will not be the original file when the truck was built anymore.

Forscan changes won’t be reflected immediately but eventually the truck phones home and lets the Motorcraft site know the updated configuration. I worked with a member once and it took a couple of weeks for his Forscan changes to appear on the As-Built site.

FDRS sessions seem to update the Motocraft As-Built site very quickly. The one time I did FDRS updates, the As-built file on Motocraft reflected the change within minutes.

I download the As-Built file each month for my truck - that's how I confirm that OTA's and dealer service actually changed the module software version in the truck. See my post above on how you can use the As-built file to determine the software version of each module.

That's definitely different from back in the day, it was what ever it was built with, no such thing as calling home except for ET. That gives a whole new meaning for saving ones asbuilt from day 1, more important than ever.

Good 411. (y)

P.S. Still a tech just not with Ford any longer. :bandit:
