Disable "Similar Threads"

I saw this pop up at the bottom of every page a few days ago. Is there any way to make it an option to display or not? I tried looking through the user control panel and settings and didn't see anything.

I have disabled all of the Lightning threads (something I will never own in the current gen form) but I can't remember how I did it

Go to Forums, Unread Posts, on the Dark Blue Title bar (right side) click filters and you can adjust there.

I've never seen "similar threads", but I have hidden lightning from what's new (unread). Then again, I only use the "what's new" tab to ingest content here. I really never go to the forums list.

Yes - Exactly the same for me, I now see it only on mobile.
