Have you never seen a vehicle put the wipers up like that? Must live in California or Arizona or Florida...

Yes, I have forgotten what snow and ice looks like, living in SoCal since 1976, coming from Detroit. Do not remember us ever lifting the wipers, but seems smart. Maybe the old wipers never tilted back like today's.

Looks like we could use a EVSE Plug Port Snow Cover Shield, like this one for a Bolt if venturing into the cold:

Would be nice to have one for a DCFC CCS charger as well, with a sign on it that says "only can be removed when vehicle is unlocked" which might deter those folks trying to yank it out. Is that statement true, "unlocks only if vehicle is unlocked"?

wow, we been thinking to make a snow cover as well, but cant really finds a good solution. the product shown above doesn't seems strong enough as well right?

No. Anyone can push the center button next to the charging handle, and remove the DC charging handle.

One would need to measure a number of handles to find out size tolerances for a cover. Maybe silicone rubber would flex enough for that, on a stiffer pvc plastic plate. Also put a knob handle on the plate to ease lifting off. Two sizes, one for home J1772 handles, and one for the CCS handles.

@BestEvMod Also would like to see an instrument panel cover to blank out all that light, from just a screen with percent charge on it, when sitting in accessory mode (did not search to see if that was already suggested). The center display is easy to blank. Maybe Ford, @Ford Motor Company , can fix that in software.
